19/06/18 : As part of the pre-season training and in preparation for the UEFA Europa League QR 1 competition, Balzan FC played their first friendly match for season 2018/2019 against neighbours Birkirkara FC, played at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali. Birkirkara managed to beat Balzan FC with a score of 1-0.
Dale Camilleri – ex Hamrun Spartans FC midfielder joined Balzan FC
Xewkija Tigers FC goalkeeper Steve Sultana who was on loan to Hamrun partans FC during season 2017/2018, re-joined Balzan FC after four years. He was registered with Balzan FC on 1st July 2014 and played for them during season 2014/2015.
