20/01/20: Bosnian central defender Aleksandar Kosorić parted away from Balzan FC to rejoin FK Zeljeznicar, the team which he payed for, in Bosnia & Herzegovina, from 2014 till 2017.
The thirty-one year old started his career with FK Slavija Sarajevo, joining FK Partizan Belgrade in January 2009. However after one year, he moved to FK Rad after hardly getting any playing time with the Serbian giants. Kosorić spent two years at Rad and then went on to play for FK Radnički 1923 for one year before moving to Iraq to join Erbil SC. He returned to Serbia, joining FK Radnički Niš but after six months, moved to Bosnia-Herzegovina, joining FK Željezničar Sarajevo. He spent two-and-a-half years at the club, during which period he was appointed as captain. In the mean time, he received a national team call up and made his debut in the final of the 2016 Kirin Cup against Japan. In February 2017, he joined Radnik Bijeljina but the following summer moved to Latvia, joining Spartaks Jūrmala.
In January 2019 Aleksandar Kosoric joined Balzan FC where he played for the rest of Season 2018/2019. He was part of the team who won the FA Trophy and played in the UEFA Europa League games against FK Kesla of Azerbaijan and FK Slovan of Slovenia. In Season 2019/2020 he continued playing for Balzan FC when in January 2020 he found the opportunity to move playing back to one of the top teams of native country Bosnia & Herzegovina.
