Jake Galea started the first years of his football carrier with St Andrews FC Nursery where he was given a contract and played for their first team

In season 2017/2018 he was registered with Hamrun Spartans FC where he stayed for only one season.

In season 2018/2019 he joined Sliema Wanderers FC where he spent two seasons up to last season 2020/21.

After his contract with Sliema Wanderers FC expired, he pursued a career abroad but when the possibility to play in Italy or Cyprus failed he started looking for a Maltese Premier League team to join and finally he came to terms with Balzan FC to seal his transfer.

In 2018 Jake was called up with the National Under 20 team and in season 2017/2018 he joined the under 21 National Team.

In 2020 the 24 years old goalkeeper made his debut with the National Team in a friendly match against Gibraltar.

Balzan FC wishes Jake the best of luck in his debut with the club.
