After the interval, Balzan insisted as Uros Ljubomirac tested Ini Akpan with a shot from outside the area but the Mosta goalkeeper halted his chance.
In another attempt to goal, Milan Duric squandered a chance to double Balzan’s lead when from point-blank range his shot sailed over the bar.
Uros Ljubomirac threatened again when he struck a shot that Akpan blocked into a corner.
From the resultant corner kick, Uros Ljubomirac connected but his effort was cleared into a corner once again.
Balzan continued to pile the pressure on Mosta, with a Milan Duric’s header going just wide from Akpan’s goal.
However in the 73rd minute, it was Mosta who found the net. They equalised when, off a cross by Clayton Failla from the left, SUNDAY AKINBULE chested down the ball inside the area before hitting past goalkeeper Rudy Briffa.
Five minutes later, Mosta took the lead. Boubakary Diarra served substitute MICHAEL MIFSUD who in turn slotted the ball into the corner of the net.
