Mosta came back from three goals down to earn a point in a 3-3 draw with Balzan, with both teams going home with a point each.

In the 5th minute, Balzan took the lead when off a cross from the right, Suleiman Jalu headed home past goalkeeper Bitseki Moto.

In the 12th minute, Balzan doubled the score. The Mosta goalkeeper rushed out of the area to clear the ball but ended up serving Suleiman Jalu who found no difficulty to score with a powerful shot from outside the area.

In the beginning of the second half, something curious took place as Mosta, who had already kicked-off the first half, kicked-off the second half as well.

In the 53rd minute, Balzan increased the score when following a cross by Uros Ljubomirac, Tyrone Farrugia was unlucky to deflect the ball past his own goalkeeper.

In the 64th minute, Bojan Kaljevic reduced the gap, when heading the ball home following a corner from the left by Duane Bonnici.

In the 88th minute, following a foul commited just outside the area, Bojan Kaljevic took the direct free-kick and managed to beat goalkeeper Sean Mintoff.

But it was not over yet as two minutes in added time, Mosta were awarded a penalty and Bojan Kaljevic made no mistake to equalise and gather a hat-trick.
