Balzan are pleased to announce that Alfred Effiong has extended his contract with the club.

Club President Anton Tagliaferro said ” We are pleased to announce that Alfred has extended his contact with the club. Alfred has played over 100 games for Balzan since he joined in 2015 and scored many important goals – few will ever forget his 4 goals and winning penalty in Balzan’s FA Trophy win in May 2019. ”

Alfred said ” I am very pleased to have extended my contract with Balzan , which has become something of a second home to me . I look forward to working with the new coach in the season ahead and to give my all to contribute to the team as best I can in the season ahead.”
