Balzan registered 19 year old amateur goalkeeper Andy Catania Gilson.

Andy started his football career with Balzan FC Nursery, at the age of 10 years, in the beginning of season 2011/2012, where he stayed till the age of 14.

he then joined the neighbouring Lija A FC nursery where he stayed till the last season 2020/2021.

In July 2020 he decided to re-join Balzan FC.
