Following the uncertainty surrounding the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic all over the world, 24 year old American striker Adeseyi Shinobu Adeyinka ADEKOYA k/a Seyi Adekoya decided to return home to his family in America.
Seyi registered with Balzan FC on 6th February 2020. After a short spell, of less than two months, with Balzan FC he reached a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract.
Before joining Balzan FC, he played for Seattle in the MLS in the US and with the Danish Premier Division of Denmark with Vendsyssel, against the likes of FC Copenhagen and other top teams there.
We will miss Seyi as he was a very strong addition to our squad and we thank him for his services.
