Monday 3rd July 2017 : During the Football League draws held in the new Trophies lounge at the MFA headquarters at Ta’ Qali,  Balzan FC were drawn to play their first match of the Premier League 2017/2018 against newly promoted Naxxar Lions FC. The second game will be against St Andrews FC and then in the following sequence against Sliema Wanders FC; Hamrun Spartans FC; Valletta FC; Floriana FC; Lija Athletic FC; Gzira United FC; Birkirkara FC; Mosta FC; Tarxien Rainbows FC; Senglea Athletics FC and finally against Hibernians FC.

The Premier League is going to start on Friday 18th August 2017 and finish on Saturday 21st April 2018.
